Celebrate International Women's Day with an All-Women Mariachi Band on ZOOM**

The Mariachi genre is traditionally a male-led industry but women have creatively established their presence in this powerful medium of cultural expression since the 1930s. In 2018, Verónica Robles, a highly acclaimed artist and cultural icon, founded Boston’s Female Mariachi band, the first-ever all-women Mariachi in New England.

Join Verónica and members of the all-women Mariachi band in an afternoon of history and music as we celebrate the accomplishments of women around the world.
