Author Marjan Kamali to Discuss Her Best-Selling Novel The Stationery Shop

Join award-winning author Marjan Kamali at the Needham Free Public Library, Nov. 6 to learn how her novels examine the impact of culture and tradition – as well as world events – on contemporary relationships. She will discuss her personal history and creative process, and how they are reflected in her latest best-selling novel, The Stationery Shop.

Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation. Kamali, a resident of Lexington, is also the author of the novel Together Tea.

Born in Turkey to Iranian parents, and having lived in many countries before settling in Massachusetts, she will share her writing journey and discuss the challenge of staying motivated to be creative even in uncertain times.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Needham Public Library and will be a live event in the Community Room of the Needham Free Public Library. Registration is required , as we have a current capacity limit of 100.
