Dr. Gil Brodsky, MD - Brave New World of DNA Testing

The Friends of the Needham Free Public Library will present a talk by Needham resident, Pathologist, Gil Brodsky, MD, who will share the scientific ABC’s of how DNA testing sites work and what you really learn. Hear Dr. Brodsky’s own life-changing story including the discovery of 50 half-siblings. The program will be presented on Zoom with live questions and answers following the lecture.
  The Zoom Link will be sent out to those who have registered a few days before the program is scheduled to take place.

Dr. Brodsky, a resident of Needham since 1979, is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and Associate Pathologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for 38 years. He is very active at Temple Aliyah, including serving as co-President with his wife Margie. He and Margie are both long time board members of the Needham Great Hall Performance Foundation.
