LFN Author Series: Dr. Sanjiv Chopra and Gina Vild – The Two Most important Days: How to find your purpose and live a happier, healthier life

As a professor of medicine and former faculty dean for Continuing Medical Education at Harvard Medical School and a world-renowned specialist in liver disease, Dr. Sanjiv Chopra knows a thing or two about health. It is no surprise, then, that he is a sought-after inspirational speaker on such diverse topics as leadership, health, and happiness.

As the associate dean for communications and external relations at Harvard Medical School, Gina Vild was responsible for managing all aspects of communications for the world’s leading medical school. Today, she is a sought-after speaker on the topics of happiness, resilience, and grief and someone who has learned from experience a good deal about overcoming adversity and finding one’s true path later in life.

Together, they have written The Two Most important Days: How to find your purpose and live a happier, healthier life. In this internationally-acclaimed book that Vild calls “a practical guide to being happier and living a life of purpose, a book offering the latest scientific research, ancient wisdom and poetry” (and that has already been translated into Turkish and Hungarian!), the authors share stories and advice that are intended to inspire readers to find value in everyday pursuits, no matter how many days they have already enjoyed. It is sure to be an enlightening and enriching conversation that will set guests on paths to more fulfilling lives. .

Dr. Chopra and Ms. Vild will be interviewed by Matt Robinson, host of The Writer’s Block on The Needham Channel (https://www.needhamchannel.org/the-writers-block/) and author of Lions, Tigers, and…Bulldogs? An unofficial guide to the legends and lore of the Ivy League (www.lionstigersbulldogs.com).
