LFN Fall Author Series: Judy Rakowsky
Judy Rakowsky is a writer and crisis communications expert who currently works with the Liberty Square Group in Boston.
As an experienced reporter who had covered crime and legal affairs for The Boston Globe and The Providence Journal (among other publications), Judy knows what it takes to investigate a story and find facts that many might not want to be found.
Through a series of visits to Poland and interviews with other family members, Judy came up against official government bans on releasing information about her family but persevered and eventually put together her amazing book, Jews in the Garden.
Judy will be interviewed by Matt Robinson, host of The Writer’s Block on The Needham Channel, and the author of Lions, Tigers, and…Bulldogs? An unofficial guide to the legends and lore of the Ivy League.
This event is sponsored by the Library Foundation of Needham.
