Libby (by OverDrive) & hoopla: Learn the Basics

Would you like to download ebooks and audiobooks from Libby (by OverDrive) or hoopla, but aren’t sure how? Join us in October or November for in-person sessions on learning the basics for downloading from these FREE digital apps. All sessions will take place in the first-floor Community Room. Libby sessions take place on October 19 and November 9. We'll review hoopla basics on October 26 and November 16. Choose the sessions that work for your schedule!

Space is limited to six (6) attendees, and registration is required. In addition to reviewing each app's general features, we'll review functions including:

• setting up your account
• search and navigation basics
• how to add libraries / cards
• managing loans and holds
• reading on Kindle (Libby)
• syncing devices

Takeaway handouts will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their devices (smartphone, tablet, or Kindle) and should come prepared with their library card number and library account PIN.* Kindle users, you will need your Amazon login information (user name and password) if you would like to practice sending ebooks to your Kindle.
