Behind the Scenes at Antiques Roadshow: Secret’s from America’s Favorite Treasure Hunt with Executive Producer Marsha Bemko

Join the Friends of the Needham Public Library for a behind-the-scenes conversation with Antiques Roadshow Executive Producer Marsha Bemko as she reveals secrets from the award-winning public television show produced by GBH. Ms. Bemko will tell the inside story of this Emmy Award® nominated series on Sunday, March 26, from 2-3:30 PM in the Community Room of the Needham Free Public Library.

You’ll learn about surprising appraisals that leave guests floored, literally, what happens after the cameras stop rolling and what it’s like to be executive producer of PBS’s most-watched ongoing series. You’ll also get a sneak peek at this season’s surprises – before they’ve aired!

Please note, this is not an appraisal event.

Ms. Bemko’s television career spans 30 years. Prior to joining Roadshow as senior producer in 1999, she worked on several GBH-produced public affairs programs for PBS, including Culture Shock (1999), a historical series about censorship in the arts and freedom of expression, and Discovering Women (1995), a series about six women scientists.
