Join us as local Sportscaster Jimmy Myers reflects on his almost 40 years as a sportscaster in the news and in the sports field.

Jimmy Myers has been a long time fixture on the Boston Sports Scene, from his time as the Sports Anchor for WBZ TV (in the early ‘70s), ESPN, Boston Celtics Basketball on Fox TV and on Sports Exchange with Jimmy Myers – a nationally syndicated talk show in the early ‘90s> He was also the Host of The Jimmy Myers Radio Show on 96.9 FM Talk in the 2000’s, and is currently the President/CEO of The Jimmy Myers Report news media site since 2010.

This program is part of the 2025 McIver series. The Series is named in honor of Vivian McIver, longtime director of the library. All presentations are free and accessible to the public.
