McIver Series 2025: Authors Paul and Peter Reynolds - Create Bravely: Are YOU Ready to Make Your Mark?
Paul and his twin brother Peter H. Reynolds proudly proclaim their 200-year mission - to create and share positive media, storytelling and technology to move the world to a better place. The impact of their films, storybooks for all ages, and creativity software has been felt by millions around the globe - especially in classrooms, school libraries and other places of learning. Core to their message is the deep-seated belief that positive, creative human potential can be nurtured in all of us - but only if we are brave enough to tap into it.
Peter and Paul will share some of their many stories, including their award-winning picture book Going Places, and Peter’s newest book The Gift of Words, which is the sequel to his #1 New York Times best-selling storybook The Word Collector. Along with a drawing demonstration, the brothers will also share their creative process, offer tips to attendees to support their own writing and creative endeavors, and take questions from the audience.
