Missed out on our In-Person meetings?  WELL, your third Thursdays just got a little more interesting!  Why not join us Virtually as the Comic Book Book Club is back!  Get together with like-minded Comic Book and Graphic Novel lovers to discuss some interesting reads!

Join us this month as we discuss The Alchemist : A Graphic Novel by Paulo Coelho ; adapted by Derek Ruiz ; artwork by Daniel Sampere and others as a group!

Summary: Graphic novel adaptation of the novel by the same name - The Alchemist - written by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho that was first published in 1988 and originally written in Portuguese.  It became a widely translated international bestseller and then later adapted into graphic novel format.

The Alchemist is about an Andalusian shepherd boy, Santiago, who travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of a treasure buried in the Pyramids. Along the way he meets a Gypsy woman, a man who calls himself king, and an alchemist, all of whom point Santiago in the direction of his quest. No one knows what the treasure is, or if Santiago will be able to surmount the obstacles
